Elands Valley Featherbrook is a cottage located on the Elands Valley Guest Farm in Dullstroom. The cottage provides accommodation that is completely private, picturesque valley views, surrounded by formal rose and herb garden, vineyards and trout dams.

Self Catering Accommodation

Elands Valley Featherbrook is a stone double storey self catering cottage with two bedrooms.

The main bedroom has a King-size bed, a sitting area and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The loft bedroom has a double bed and two single beds. There is an additional bathroom with an oval bath looking out onto private views of the rolling hills. There is also a separate toilet. We have upgraded safety in the Featherbrook loft by putting in a toddler gate.

The kitchen is a well equipped, spacious country kitchen with a large coal stove for warmth, a stove, oven, fridge, microwave and an eight seater farmhouse table. The cozy olde-worlde lounge has an open fireplace, a TV with DStv and DVD player and book shelves.

There is a small entrance lobby with a mini bar area and a fireplace which opens onto a sheltered wooden deck overlooking the dams and valley. The covered stoep off the kitchen has a braai leading to a private garden with a pond.

Unlimited firewood is provided and the cottage is fully serviced by uniformed staff. Servicing on Sundays is available at an additional cost.

Road Access

Located approximately 15km from town with 8km of gravel road. A 4x2 and 4x4 is recommended. Normal high rise vehicles might take longer to reach the venue. NO low vehicles.

Onsite Activities

Guests can enjoy fly-fishing in 7 spring-fed dams (Trout & Bass), for beginners and advanced. A small boat and fishing rods are available. Two fish per day per rod.

This is a birding paradise with over 200 species(including Dullstroom rarities and over 800 head of antelope including Eland.

Special features include new floodlit tennis court, basketball net and football goal posts. Plunge pool, sundeck and sauna with a view, children's tree house stocked with toys and books and outside play area with jungle gym.
