Fineview Cottage is named for the spectacular views over the farm and the surrounding valleys below the high ridge on which the cottage is nestled. Offering accommodation in Robertson, the cottage is just a two-hour drive from Cape Town, the working wine and olive farm is an idyllic retreat with an elegant and romantic country setting that promises to relax, rejuvenate, and restore your soul.

Self Catering Accommodation

Fineview Cottage is a charming three-bedroom holiday home in Robertson with a large brick veranda and plunge pool set against a backdrop of the Langeberg Mountains.

The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed with a down duvet and crisp cotton linens, a separate dressing room, and an en-suite bathroom with a deluxe soaking tub, a walk-in shower, toilet, basin and a complimentary range of deluxe personal care products.

The second and third bedrooms are each furnished with single beds that can be made into double beds if required and share a private bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower, toilet and basin.

A spacious, open-plan living area has comfortable furnishings, a plasma television with DStv, air-conditioning for hot summer nights, and a cosy fireplace for staying warm during the winter.

A fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances for self-catering for entertaining friends and opens onto a covered patio with braai facilities and an outdoor dining area for alfresco dining under the stars.

Dining

Breakfast baskets, picnic baskets and braai baskets are available on request and are freshly prepared in our kitchen. They include a fusion of traditional South African dishes and Portuguese treats.

Surrounded by spectacular landscapes of natural rock formations, crystal clear waterfalls, and endemic fauna and flora in the foothills of Babbedasberg, the farm is a nature lover's paradise and offers a wealth of outdoor activities from hiking and mountain biking to kloofing, bird-watching and nature drives.

The best possible way to experience the natural beauty of Orange Grove Farm is to explore the natural wilderness on foot or by bicycle against the backdrop of the Langeberg Mountains.
