Flip Flop Inn can accommodate up to eight guests in the main house and a separate flatlet. The first bedroom has a King-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The second and third bedrooms each contain a Queen-size bed. These two rooms share a bathroom with a shower. The separate flatlet has two single beds, a small kitchenette with a fridge-freezer and a sink, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The main house kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a hob and oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area contains a large dining table and chairs. The lounge area offers comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi internet access is available. The living area opens to a covered patio with outdoor seating. The home has a sheltered swimming pool area with outdoor dining furniture and a braai facility, as well as a deck with outdoor dining furniture and sea views. Secure garage parking for 2 vehicles is available on the premises. Stairs leading up from the garage to the house. The home is pet friendly by arrangement and at an additional charge.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
