Accommodation
Flitwick Ranch offers a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, set against the serene backdrop of the Southern Drakensberg in KwaZulu-Natal. Our accommodations include the historic Old Cheese Factory and cozy Bull Stables, each transformed into charming self-catering units. For those seeking a bit more luxury, the Garden Villa & Loft and Lake Villa & Loft provide spacious, elegantly decorated spaces with stunning views.
Additionally, our Log Cabins offer a perfect retreat for families or groups, ensuring a tranquil and memorable stay. Each unit is thoughtfully equipped and designed to provide a peaceful escape from the everyday hustle.
Facilities include a basic kitchenette with a sink, cutlery, crockery and glasses as well as a kettle. Some units have a wood stove. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, and the rooms are serviced daily. Free Wi-Fi is available in the deli. More room info and photos can be seen below.
Enjoy the beautiful gardens and dams around the buildings and main farm house. We have a dam where you could fish or just relax on a float or outside garden furniture.

Pets
We are a pet friendly and dog loving family, however, please adhere to the following pet guidelines to accommodate all our guests:
• We charge a R150 fee per dog.
• Dog beds are available. Please feel free to bring your own bed(s) and blanket(s) for your dogs if you prefer.
• Dogs/cats are not allowed to use our blankets on the beds or be on the beds at any time as we have white linen.
• Dogs are not allowed on the hiking trails as the cattle can attack you to protect their calves.
• If you go for a walk, please take a bag with you to collect the dog's droppings.
• Dogs must be on a leash at all times in public areas
The Deli
The Deli is situated in a beautiful stone building with comfortable seating overlooking the dam. Breakfast, lunch, dinners can be enjoyed in a comfortable setting. The Deli is not licensed to sell alcohol. Guests can also purchase treats, frozen meat and farm produced products.
Activities
Farm activities include hiking trails and herding cattle, picnics (on request), watching milking the cows, a basic obstacle course for the young at heart, star gazing, horse riding, fishing and bird watching.

We were given a stunning room overlooking the lake and it was awesome to wake up in the morning with such a magnificent view. My wife and I were the only guests there, so again very special to be able to have the whole venue to ourselves :) . All equipment is supplied for self catering. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay, so thanks to all involved. Owner and staff were incredible with checking up for our arrival. Went through a massive rain storm, with hail, on route along the gravel road, but fortunately arrived safely.
