About Gecko Lodge

Gecko Lodge is situated 3km from Hazyview in Mpumalanga, South Africa, on a 35ha Farm with Sabie River Frontage. Tucked away in the Sabie River Valley amongst indigenous forests. Gecko Lodge is situated 15km from the Kruger Park Phabeni Gate and 50km from Gods Window. Therefore this is an ideal base from which to explore the Kruger National Park and the Panorama route including the Blyde River Canyon and Pilgrims Rest.

This family run and managed Lodge has its emphasis on tranquillity, comfort, quality service and good food. With its comfortable rooms and restaurant Gecko Lodge offers the guest an escape from modern urban living and is suitable for those seeking a romantic getaway, a base for numerous activities from to extreme or even for a relaxing family holiday at affordable rates.

Accommodation

Gecko Lodge offers 23 en-suite rooms (9 Double, 10 Twin, 3 Triple and 1 Family room) all set in a beautiful garden and surroundings. Each Room has its own Character and each room is individually decorated by the owners with the focus on guest comfort.

Each Room has got Ceiling fans, Tea and Coffee making facilities, a safe and laundry service.

We have a little walking trail on the property, down to the Sabie River, with some of the most amazing bird sightings in the area.
