Cottage 2 is an open plan cottage. The bedroom area is furnished with a double bed and has a bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower, toilet and basin. There is a well equipped kitchenette (no stove). You will enjoy garden and mountain views from the bed and patio where there is a built in braai and outdoor dining.

Built in the 1900's, Gentle Presence is one of the oldest sandstone homes in Clarens. This quaint and cosy heritage home offers self catering for four people and has exceptional views of the Rooiberge and Maluti Mountains. The cottage has an open plan living area, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bedrooms share a balcony. Both bedrooms accommodate two guests. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a Queen-size bed and Bedroom 2 has two single beds (can be converted to a King-size bed on request). Each bedroom has a private bathroom across the passage. Toiletries are provided and a hairdryer is available on request. There is also a guest loo on the ground level. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and the open plan living area has a flat screen TV with premium DStv. There is a large dining room table where you can enjoy meals or play games. There is a covered patio with braai facilities.
