GlenDonald Cottage offers visitors the opportunity to experience the Cape Floral Kingdom in all its glory. This perfect mountain cottage lies hidden away in the mountains of the Western Cape, one of nature's best kept secrets, situated at the headwaters of the Olifants River.

Self Catering Accommodation

GlenDonald Cottage has six bedrooms. Four of the bedrooms are located in the cottage and the other two in Swallow's Croft which is separate to the main cottage.

There are two rooms in the cottage furnished with Queen-size beds, one with a double bed and one with three single beds. One of the Queen bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The separate bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

Swallow's Croft has two bedrooms furnished with Queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and there is a comfortable lounge.

Outside is an open braai area / firepit and a rock pool. Outside there is a KolKol wood fired hot tub.

The property is a declared Protected Environment with numerous species of rare flora, fauna, avian and fish endemic to the area. The mountains and streams offer the outdoor enthusiast numerous activities like Fly-fishing, hiking, climbing, kloofing and exploring the rivers.
