Glen Harry Game Reserve is for those who wish to take a step back in time to a natural world without the madding crowd, noise, light and air pollution. Come breathe fresh air again whether for a night, a week or more, and rekindle your innermost instincts on the Reserve with our warm people whose only concern is your well-being whilst sharing our vision.

Accommodation

The privately located sleeping chalets (one of them is self catering) are positioned with magnificent uninterrupted views of the Reserve with wild animals roaming in the vicinity, it's not unusual to step out of your room in the morning and see the footsteps of a herd of giant Eland as they have passed like ghosts in the night. The cotton percale bed linen, and sumptuous towels provided, are of the highest quality.

The spacious rooms are equipped with separate inside and outside seating, ample wardrobe space, fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. Chalets have both heating and air conditioning. Free unlimited internet access for your own laptop. En-suite bathrooms consist of wash hand basin and large shower with separate toilet. A selection of complimentary shower and hair products are provided.

Dining

All meals are included in the Full Board Rates. A short lantern-lit trail from the individual chalets are the communal seating, bar and dining areas where food is served along with roaring log fires and a selection of fine South African wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks on an individual charge basis. A boma allows for star gazing and storytelling and the built-in braai creates an atmosphere for communal gatherings where much cooking advice is shared!

Activities

Full Board rates include a daily game drive, stargazing, mountain biking, bush walks and swimming in our salt pool. In this land there are no dangerous cats, which allows our guests to roam freely, whether guided or solo, and sleep under the stars should they wish, without no concern of a dangerous encounter.The reserve enjoys a rich biodiversity which is born of the lands interesting terrain and topography. The Sundays river encourages water-reliant creatures, and is home to exotic birds and amphibians. The hilly landscape which can be climbed by vehicle for viewing is home to eagles and klipspringers.

Kids Activities

Childrens game drives are available as well as stick bread making and cupcake making.
