The Glen Reenen Rest Camp is situated close to the Golden Gate Hotel and offers a selection of Clarens self catering units. This is an ideal spot for nature lovers who prefer to get a bit closer to the natural environment.

The Shop at Glen Reenen is located opposite the Reception Building of Glen Reenen Rest Camp. Once you are comfortable and have more or less settled into your unit we encourage you to come and have a look around and discover some delightful items. We stock everything from basic essentials, foodstuffs to charcoal. We are also licensed to sell alcohol.
The shop stocks a wide variety of novelties, postcards, maps, books, sunglasses, clothing and even cell phone airtime. Unique items of memorabilia are also on sale carrying the Golden Gate Highlands National Park name as a reminder of your stay and making the highlands memories linger long after your return back home.

Perfect location, clean, neat and has everything one needs. Just note that the Londawels are shared so there's a door splitting 2 living units. Next time we will stay in a rondawel, not a londawel as you can hear the people in the unit attached to yours. All in all, an excellent stay.
