About Go Baviaans

Go Baviaans offers a wide variety of accommodation options in the Baviaans World Heritage site at the base camp, close to the Leopard Trail. While here you can enjoy a number of outdoor activities and really immerse yourself in nature.

This is a great place to come for a tranquil getaway. The Cedar Falls Hike, Leopard Trail Four Day Hike and Running Man Rock Art Trail are all accessible from your front door. Activities at Cedar Tourism include mountain biking, bird watching, swimming, walking through the labyrinth and much more.

Self Catering Accommodation

The base camp offers self catering accommodation in Cedar Guesthouse., Red Cliffs Farmhouse, Rietrivier Cottage, Heuningbos Huisie and Cob Cottage.

Cedar Guesthouse
This house has four bedrooms and sleeps up to eight guests. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the other three bedrooms each have two single beds. There are two separate bathrooms each with a bath and one with a shower. There is also a private outside shower. The house has a living room, dining area and a well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a garden, braai facilities and a wrap around verandah.

Red Cliffs Farmhouse
This house has four bedrooms and sleeps up to twelveguests. Please bring your own bedding, sleeping bags and towels. There are two separate bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower. There is an open plan lounge and dining area as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

Rietrivier Cottage
Rietrivier Cottage offers a comfortable stay with three rooms featuring two single beds each, and a pull-out couch in the living area, accommodating up to two additional guests. Guests will also find a separate tub and shower, outdoor furniture, a patio, a plunge pool, and facilities for braai/barbecue.

Heuningboshuisie
Heuningboshuisie is a charming cottage featuring one bedroom with a queen bed and a separate sofa couch. It includes both indoor and outdoor bathrooms, and is equipped with solar power and gas appliances. There is a separate bathtub and shower. Guests can enjoy a small plunge pool, as well as a variety of amenities such as Wi-Fi, a cozy sitting area with a fireplace, a dining table, and stunning mountain views. Additional features include a refrigerator, a two-plate stove, outdoor furniture, and braai/barbecue facilities

Cob Cottage (sleeps two guests)
This private one bedroom cottage sleeps two guests in a queen size bed. There is a comfortable lounge area and a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is open air and has a bath and an undercover toilet. Paraffin lamps and solar power is provided.

The accommodation is reachable with a normal sedan if entering from Willowmore. If you are entering from Patensie then you need a 4x4 or 2x4 with dif-lock
