Self Catering Accommodation

Grannys Cottage has two bedrooms. The main bedroom is on the lower level and furnished with a Queen-size bed. The second room is in the loft area and furnished with a double bed. The bathrooms are fitted with a large shower, toilet and basin. One of the bathrooms also has a bath and is en-suite to the main bedroom.

The open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen. The lounge is comfortably furnished and leads onto the patio.

The patio has outdoor furniture and braai facilities. There is also a wood-fired hot tub.

Attractions

The farm can be explored on foot or on one's own mountain bike. There is quite a lot of birdlife and while you will see birds at the cottage, the ravine is a good place to see more of them. Hiking is also an option on the farm with a few clear paths to follow. As the farm is not flat, we suggest collecting a two-way radio before going on your walk to ensure that you are able to contact us should you need any help.

The farm borders a river and swimming is the river is permitted. The river has varying depths and brown water. One cannot easily see the bottom unless the sun is shining directly on the water, so diving it not permitted and caution needs to be taken when getting in and out of the water due to loose rocks.
