About Gumtree Lodge

Gumtree Lodge offers Bed & Breakfast accommodation in Durban in 12 luxuriously appointed suites, bordering the Mount Edgecombe Golf Estate. The lodge is ideally positioned for golfers, business stay-overs, holiday gateways and long term stays.

Gumtree Lodge is within 3kms of Umhlanga Rocks, South Africa's famous beach resort at the Indian Ocean, and is minutes away from Gateway shopping centre, excellent restaurants and is closely located to prominent business parks, sports clubs and within walking distance to world class golf courses.

FACILITIES

Facilities include a stunning swimming pool and BBQ area, 24 hour wireless internet throughout the Lodge, a business centre, DSTV and air-conditioning in every suite, comfortable lounge, dining room, a large modern kitchen, a fully stocked honesty bar, an in-house laundry service, an on-site travel & tours desk and we offer secure on-site parking.

ACCOMMODATION

Each suite is elegantly appointed and our solid mahogany furniture adds a touch of sophistication whilst providing absolute comfort. We offer Kingsize Executive Suites, Queen-bedded Suites and Twin-bedded suites. Additional single beds may be added to Kingsize suites in order to accommodate small children.

All suites have stunning en-suite facilities that offer both showers and baths. From lavishing in a ball-and-claw bath, to relaxing in a spa bath, we are certain our guest's every comfort has been considered.

BREAKFAST & DINING

Breakfasts are served in our dining room and, in fine weather, out on the patio. Continental and Full English Breakfasts are inclusive and we will accommodate special dietary requests.

There are a number of excellent restaurants nearby and takeaway outlets offer delivery. However, we will gladly provide dinner by prior arrangement.
