About Hartley Manor Guest House
Set in the beautiful Muldersdrift area, Hartley Manor offers both self catering cottages and B&B units. Only 15 minutes from Lanseria, Krugersdorp and Honeydew and with easy access to the many wedding and conference venues in Muldersdrift, Hartley Manor Guest House is ideal overnight accommodation for wedding guests and conference delegates.
Fourways, Sandton, Randburg and Krugersdorp are all within easy travelling and offer live theatre, casinos, cinemas and major shopping centers.
Accommodation
With a working rose nursery on the property, each of the cottages and guest rooms have been named after a rose. The cottages are surrounded by roses, lavender and lawn.
Self Catering Cottages
The spacious self catering cottages offer two large bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with twin beds) each with own en suite bathroom, separate toilet, fully equipped kitchen, lounge / dining room, TV (local channels) covered patio, braai, covered parking and are serviced daily.
Bed and Breakfast Units
The bed and breakfast units have either queen or twin beds, en suite bathroom (shower), bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, own entrance off enclosed courtyard, secure parking. A full breakfast is served in the dining room of the main house.
Attractions & Activities
The on-site nursery is open to the public and guests are welcome to wonder through the nursery at their leisure or sit on the patio and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
Being on the border of the Cradle of Humankind, there are many interesting sites to visit. To name a few: Sterkfontein Caves, Maropeng, The Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve (which includes the Wonder Caves), The Lion Park, Gilroys Country Brewery (a micro brewery with outstanding beer) and Ngwenya Glass Village.
Other activities include horse riding, hot air ballooning, game drives and wellness centers and spas. Eating out offers a wide choice from top class restaurants to casual bistros.

Was ok. Room was very basic but served its purpose. Bathroom was poor. Old threadbare towels. Didn't stay for breakfast. Room has toasted sandwich menu but was told that that is old and no longer offered.

Thanks for an enjoyable stay and for fixing our roof! It was a bit of a mission getting hold of Tasha the day before booking in - and we did not find her friendly or welcoming on the phone. In person, however, she assisted where necessary and answered our questions adequately. I would recommend working on this "first impression" scenario.
