And, just three kilometres from the laid-back town of Hazyview in the heart of Mpumalanga, is the scenic Hazyview Buffalo Game Lodge. This lodge enjoys its idyllic setting on a game reserve that measures an impressive 425 hectares

Accommodation

There are eight inviting bedrooms set in the midst of the breath-taking countryside. Because the lodge is run by the owner, there is a focus on quality in terms of food, facilities, and friendly service; as well as on indulging the guests and allowing them to enjoy the complete serenity and comfort of lodge living. The staff members can speak English, Dutch, and a little German.

In Room Facilities

Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a tea and coffee station, and air-conditioning. They are non-smoking rooms.

The spacious dining and living room is the perfect place to relax and savour a hearty breakfast and a moreish cooked dinner; or a refreshing tea, coffee or cold drink.

The large patio outside offers extra room to sit and soak up the serenity. The main living area has Wi-Fi and DSTV for our guests' use and convenience. Guided walking trails are a fantastic way to see the private game reserve and to watch the animals in their natural habitat.

Hazyview is 35 kilometres east of Sabie and 15 kilometres west of the world-renowned safari hotspot of the Kruger National Park (Phabeni Gate). The Hazyview Buffalo Game Lodge is a comfortable base for those wanting to visit Kruger and the Panorama Route, which includes natural wonders like God's Window, Pilgrim's Rest, and the awesome Blyde River Canyon.
