Hermanus Beachfront Lodge is one of only two lodges that are located on the very popular Voeklip Beach, which is much sought after by surfers, swimmers and sunbathers alike. Enjoy Hermanus accommodation with the sound of the surf and the beautiful sunsets from one of our luxury suites.

Accommodation

Hermanus Beachfront Lodge is a guest house in Hermanus with a double room, luxury suites and a premier suite. Each suite is equipped with its own kitchenette and en-suite bathroom, as well as a television with satellite channels and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Dining

Breakfast is included in the rates and served every morning. A dinner, bed and breakfast option is also available.

On Site Facilities

Guests also have an option of relaxing in one of two guest lounges after a scenic walk, where there is an honesty bar. Each morning you will be greeted by magnificent ocean views from the breakfast lounge. The lodge has direct access to the beach and there is secure parking on site.

ATTRACTIONS

Voelklip Beach:
Voelklip Beach offers spacious green lawns leading down to the beach with a few rocky coves nearby for a more private beach experience. Voelklip Beach is a favourite among surfers and very popular during peak season and summer holidays. Refreshments are a few minutes' walk away at a nearby Deli and coffee shop.

New Harbour:
The New Harbour is a 'small fishing harbour', but during the whale season boat-based whale charter companies run from the quayside, creating a lively atmosphere of people excited about coming face to face with a Southern Right Whale. The New Harbour also offers a restaurant and a bar.

Hermanus Country Market:
The Hermanus Country Market is open every Saturday and offers a variety of organic produce, herbs, jams, deli-treats and home-grown goods, as well as several stalls for wines and gifts. This vibrant market is a hub of activity within a relaxed atmosphere, and has become one of the most popular weekly market venues in the country.

Fernkloof Nature Reserve:
Fernkloof Nature Reserve covers 18 square kilometres in the Kleinrivier Mountains in Hermanus and ranges in altitude from sea level to 842m. The Fernkloof Nature Reserve contains 18% of the plants of the Cape Floral Kingdom. There is no other place on earth where so many different species can be seen growing in such close proximity.

Grotto Beach:
The Blue Flag Grotto Beach is well known for its massive stretch of stunning sandy beach and ocean. It is enjoyed by locals and tourists alike and boasts a view of the mountainous areas behind whilst still having a seemingly unending view of the beach. This beach is perfect for swimming, sun tanning, games and long, leisurely walks.
