Hide Montagu offers self catering accommodation in Montagu perched on the hillside of the private Le Domaine Eco Nature Reserve, accessible by normal car via a working farm. It's nestled safely between working fruit export farms and has exclusive access to the Montagu Dam.

Self Catering Accommodation

Hide Montagu is a stunning, exclusive, holiday home in Montagu sleeping four guest in two bedrooms.

The main bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and the second bedroom is furnished with two single beds which can be converted to a King-size bed. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom which open onto an intimate outdoor deck for an outdoor bath or rain shower with hot and cold water.

There is a stylishly furnished open plan living room (with fireplace / braai, Bluetooth Speaker, TV, DStv and Netflix if required), and kitchen, fully equipped with a full-sized fridge and gas stove/hob, Nespresso coffee machine, SMEG toaster and kettle, etc.

Stacking doors lead outside to a large sun deck with loungers, a splash pool, fire pit and pizza oven.

Filter and instant coffee, tea, rusks, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, as well as firewood, lighters and ice are provided. We also have braai grids and a potjie for the inside fireplace.

Attractions

We are situated on the R62 wine route in the charming town of Montagu (in the Little Karoo), an agricultural 'dorpie' where orchards and vineyards meet. It's a region known for stunning rock formations (and climbing), its Shale Renosterveld and Succulent ('Vygie') vegetation, but most famous for its export-quality dried fruit.

Read a book on our large sundeck, cook and braai on our fire pit or pizza oven, or snooze the days away on our loungers. It serves as a retreat where one can recharge to the sounds and sights of nature.
