Highlander Hotel Function Venue is situated in the picturesque town of Dullstroom, in walking distance of all of Dullstroom's quaint shops and markets. Dullstroom is the highest town in Mpumulanga and is noted for its cold and misty winter mornings. Every few years it is blanketed in snow and it becomes reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands.

The Venue

Highlander Hotel Function Venue has four rooms that are used for conferences, presentations and receptions. The rooms are of varied sizes and can accommodate up to 60 delegates.

All audio-visual equipment and projectors are available to meet the various needs of different events. The gardens adjacent to the trout pond are ideally suited to outdoor weddings and the function rooms readily host weddings, receptions and similar events.

The venue is suitable for outdoor weddings in the gardens with the possibility of offering breakfasts / brunch, lunch or evening dinner on the terrace overlooking the gardens. Alternatively, in inclement weather the function rooms are available.

We can organize your entire wedding including, the minister, photographer, hair-dresser, music, catering, open bar, wedding cake and the other essentials.

As weather is an important aspect of the success of your wedding, a marquee is also available.

The chapter one restaurant on site is renowned for the quality of its cuisine and the Stag & Crown whisky bar is known for its outstanding collection of whiskies.
