Accommodation

Highlands Corner offers three thoughtfully appointed bedrooms designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. The main bedroom features a queen-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and the cozy warmth of a private fireplace. The second bedroom, furnished with two single beds, shares a bathroom fitted with a bath/shower combination.

The third bedroom accommodates three single beds and shares the bathroom as well. Each room offers picturesque views of the surrounding landscape, enhancing the serene atmosphere.

The chalet's open-plan lounge and kitchen area seamlessly extend to a braai area, making it ideal for social gatherings. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas/electric stove, an electric oven, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, and all necessary cooking utensils.

The braai area features a built-in braai/fireplace, with a game table on the stoep and comfortable benches, creating the perfect spot for relaxation. Additional amenities include hot water bottles and extra blankets to keep you warm during cooler evenings.

Pets

Highlands Corner is exceptionally welcoming to pets, offering a well-fenced garden with diamond mesh and clear view fencing. The property accommodates up to four small to medium-sized dogs and provides doggy furniture covers, a poop scoop, and plastic bags for your convenience.

Onsite Facilities

Undercover parking is available for two vehicles within the chalet yard, ensuring your cars are safely stored.

Guests receive complimentary firewood for the first night, with additional wood available at an extra cost. The chalet is fully equipped with linen, towels, warm blankets, extra pillows, and complimentary small soap for each guest. Hand soap and toilet paper are also provided in each bathroom.

Optional services include housekeeping on request at R100.00 per stay, as well as a selection of restaurant-quality frozen ready-made meals available for order. The kitchen is outfitted with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Complimentary Nescafe coffee, sugar, sweetener, and tea are provided for your convenience.

The chalet has reliable cell phone reception, though it may vary. This is a smoke-free property, with ashtrays provided on the stoep for outdoor smoking. The tap water is safe to drink, sourced from naturally filtered underground springs. Rechargeable LED lamps are available for use during load shedding, and pre-charged load shedding light bulbs are installed before your arrival. Firewood and Sekelbos Braai Wood are available for purchase.
