High Season Farm is beautifully positioned in the picturesque Hemel en Aarde Valley near Hermanus, just 110 km from Cape Town. Join us for a relaxing stay in our luxurious 4-star self catering cottages, each one privately tucked away in its own piece of paradise.
Enjoy the panoramic mountain views while relaxing in this peaceful place. Our child-friendly farm has much to explore, such as the much loved Nguni cattle and the many farm dams. You may want to swim in our pool or go for a delightful walk where the scenery alone makes it worth exploring.

High Season Farm offers a selection of farm cottages. Each luxury cottage is fully equipped and has a barbecue area. We offer 20-channel DStv and free WiFi.

Meals
To ensure our guests get to enjoy the complete South African farm experience, we're proud to offer our exclusive Sunrise Breakfast Baskets and traditional braai baskets, hand selected and prepared especially for High Season guests.
The hearty breakfast baskets include muesli and yoghurt, fruit, free range eggs from our coop and bacon. To round it all off we've included a freshly baked farm loaf, blue berry muffins, jams & butter and orange juice.
The braai baskets feature a selection of free-range South African meat (lamb chop, chicken kebab, boerewors, around 400g); a ready-to-cook braai potato in foil with thyme garlic butter; a braai bread, 2 freshly prepared salads; and dessert.
Dog Friendly
Your four-legged friends are most welcome to join you for your stay at High Season Farm. Out of respect for other guests, we only allow up to two medium sized dogs in the larger cottages and no dogs in the smaller cottages. Your dogs must of course be well trained as barking or fighting cannot be tolerated. Remember that this is a peaceful piece of heaven and we must keep it that way.
Things to do
Our breathtaking valley is home to some of South Africas best wine farms and we are just a stone's throw away from Hermanus, where there is spectacular land-based whale watching. The valley also hosts many popular mountain bike trails.
There is so much fun to be had by the young ones at High Season Farm. Your children will be delighted by our beautiful Nguni cows and other farmyard animals. We have acres of rolling fields, trees, farm dams and a swimming pool. Our farm is a super taste of farm life for kids of all ages. High Season Farm will make your children's stay a memorable and enjoyable one.
The Overberg offers a host of activities including a wine route ,water sports, mountain biking, horse riding, paint ball, canopying, 4 wheelers, and Shark Cage Diving. Hermanus has many fine restaurants and coffee shops, fabulous shops and boutiques, , art galleries, museums and open air craft markets.

Three spacious bedrooms have magnificent views over the mountains and grazing fields of the resident Nguni cattle. The main bedroom has a King-size bed and a full en-suite bathroom. The second room has a King-size bed and the third room has twin beds. There is a second full bathroom with shower and bath and a third guest toilet. This cottage sleeps 6 guests. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, stove and oven top, microwave and dishwasher. Open plan dining area and comfortable lounge with built in fireplace, DSTV and Wi-fi. Lodge is equipped with underfloor heating and air conditioning in the lounge areas. Big wrap around verandah overlooking Babylonstoren mountains and a large braai area. We had a wonderful weekend at High Season Farm - the cottages are very comfortable, beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped. Waking up to cows grazing outside our window definitely gave us a sense of being on a farm! The views are superb and the farm is ideally situated if you are attending a wedding at Moggs Country Cookhouse, as we were. We cant wait to come back. Thank you!
