This unit has a small private balcony, overlooking the communal swimming pool. This unit is located above a secure parking bay. Hillingdale was a great home base for visiting friends and family in Cape Town. The location in the Southern Suburbs is an ideal for amazing restaurants and activities, such as hiking and visiting Kirstenbosch. The studio was well-appointed and comfortable for a couple, and the grounds and pool were inviting. The two drawbacks of the studio unit are that it is upstairs with no air conditioning and that it is next to the road so there is some minor traffic noise at times. We were aware of both of these before booking,, and thus they did not negatively impact our stay at all. We had our clothes laundered at Hillingdale before moving on to the Kruger Park, and that worked out great. Tess and Steve were great hosts, and we enjoyed chatting with them about all of our adventures. We look forward to staying at Hillingdale again on our next visit to SA!
