His Vessel Guest House is a charming B&B offering accommodation in Clarens, just a 5 min drive / walk from Clarens Central. The small town of Clarens is situated at the foothill of its attractive feature, the Maloti Mountain.

The accomadation and the owner were very welcoming, however we were only informed on arrival that breakfast was served at another location. A voucher for R100 each was presented for us to redeem. Normally a B and B breakfast, and on this tour we had 14, would normally have some fruit and a glass of juice and coffee. The voucher we were given was only sufficient for a small single egg and minimum bacon etc. We had to pay extra for toast, juice and coffee. Our combined breakfast bill after the voucher deduction was another 125 Rands. This should be advertsied ahead of time.
