Honey Badger Cottage at Fynbos Estate is a large farm cottage 200 metres from the Farmhouse. The estate offers wonderful food and wine, comfortable accommodation and a relaxed and easy atmosphere.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Honey Badger Cottage has been built in the old farm style of the area and sleeps eight guests.

There are two en-suite bedrooms, one furnished with a Queen-size bed, one with a double bed. There are also two mezzanine loft spaces each furnished with two single beds. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower, over the bath, toilet and basin.

There is a double-volume central living, eating and cooking area. The house is self-catering or continental breakfasts can brought to the house.

It has two verandas, front and back, and is situated in a spectacular setting with mountain and valley views. Honey badger has gardens back and front and is enclosed to make it pet friendly.

The Estate

Fynbos Estate offers a range of facilities for those staying on the farm. These include a raku fireplace in winter and a swimming pool under the mountain in summer, wine tasting and wine making, a large domestic library, satellite TV. The restaurant food is farm sourced and prepared with creativity and experience in a variety of styles.

Exploration of the farm and mountain by foot give visitors a chance to enjoy virtually pristine fynbos vegetation and indigenous birds and animals. Cycling up the mountain road is a hit with the fit and a high clearance vehicle will take visitors up the mountain by road where they will be greeted by spectacular views.
