Hook, Wine and Sinker has four bedrooms furnished with Queen-size beds. The main bedroom has views of the ocean and mountain, with French doors leading to a small balcony on both the mountain view and sea view side, where guests can enjoy their morning coffee or an afternoon sundowner. This room also offers direct access to the swimming pool and garden and is equipped with a conditioner and coffee-making facilities. The other bedrooms have various views and all the rooms share the use of two bathrooms fitted with baths and showers, as well as a separate guest toilet. There is also a separate, private lounge leading off these rooms, featuring comfortable seating and an additional television. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, fridge/Freezer, tea and coffee facilities, breakfast bar and ice machine. The living room has comfortable seating, an air conditioner, a fireplace for the colder nights and a TV with DStv and Netflix, opening onto the enclosed patio. The patio has a built-in braai and comfortable seats overlooking the neighbourhood, golf course and the sea in the distance. The dining room has a 10-seater dining area opening onto the garden, patio with an outdoor built-in wood braai, separate gas braai, comfortable seating and an inviting swimming pool. Hook, Wine and Sinker offer guests Wi-Fi access and parking is available.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
