House Balderjan is a self-catering holiday home in Stellenbosch located on Wechmarshof Estate. You will find us nestled in the Banhoek valley at the foot of Jouberts Piek which forms part of the Simonsberg Mountain range in the Western Cape of South Africa.

Self Catering Accommodation

House Balderjan offers air-conditioned accommodation in Stellenbosch for a group of eight guests, in four bedrooms.

There are two bedrooms furnished with King-size extra length beds. The other two bedrooms are furnished with two three-quarter beds each. There are three bathrooms fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. Two of these bathrooms are en-suite.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering including a gas stove top, electric oven, Nespresso machine, toaster, dishwasher, fridge and freezer with ice and water dispenser. The living area is comfortably furnished and has a smart TV with satellite channels and a fireplace. The dining area has a six-seater table. Wi-Fi is available.

Stacking doors lead to the outside patio and garden with spectacular views and gas braai facilities.

A midweek cleaning service is provided. Weekend and public holiday cleaning is available at an additional cost.

Attractions

The Banhoek Valley is known for its picturesque views, top wine estates and a variety of restaurants. It also produces an array of protea flowers and fynbos, as well as fruit and berries for the local and export markets.

Wechmarshof has an abundance of indigenous trees and plants that attract a large variety of birds and wildlife, including Springbuck, Steenbok, Porcupine, Lynx, Mongoose, Cape Genet and other smaller species.
