Inspired by the Scottish Highlands, Idlewood is a place to relax, have fun and make memories. This beautiful holiday home provides self catering accommodation in Dullstroom for six guests and boasts a large garden, braai area and spacious veranda, perfect to watch the mist wandering lazily through the trees or for star gazing on a clear night.

Self Catering Accommodation

The holiday home in Dullstroom has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with Queen-size beds. All have an en-suite bathroom, two fitted with a shower, toilet and basin and one fitted with a bath, toilet and basin. Rooms are fitted with heaters and electric blankets for the cooler winter months.

There is a modern living area with an open plan, fully equipped kitchen which includes a stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. The kitchen is furnished with a dining table and benches to enjoy meals at together. The comfortably furnished lounge is kept cosy by a wood burning fireplace and has a TV with full DStv.

The lounge opens to a spacious, furnished veranda which looks out over the garden. Braai facilities are also provided, as is secure, undercover parking.

Activities and Attractions

Dullstroom, a charming village nestled in the Mpumalanga Highlands, is conveniently situated halfway to Kruger Park. It is the highest village in South Africa and has become popular as a training base for European athletes during the summer months. Dullstroom is known for its trout fishing, hiking, mountain biking and golfing. Attractions include the Dullstroom Bird of Prey and Rehab Centre, the Pendle Hill Dairy, Dimitrov Art Gallery, Ama Poot Poot Hiking Trail, Anvil Ale House and Wild About Whisky.
