About Ikhamanzi Bed & Breakfast
Start your adventurous tour through South Africa and visit us in Mooilande, 50km south of Johannesburg in the Midvaal area. Enjoy an African atmosphere in a rural area, approximately 50 minutes drive from OR Tambo International Airport. An airport transfer can be arranged.
Stay a few days with us, relax at our rock pool, enjoy a drink while you listen to nature or explore the nearby Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve by horse or car. Ikhamanzi is also close to the Midvaal Race Track (3km), the Bridgestone Adrenalin Raceway, the Henly Aeromodelers Flying Field (+/- 6km), as well as the River Square Shopping Mall with various restaurants.

Safe parking under roof on the premises is possible. Children of all ages are welcome but please note that there is an open dam and pool on the property. Parents are requested to supervise their children at all times.
Activities and Attractions
As we are situated in the south of Johannesburg it is ideal to continue your tour from here and visit Golden Gate National Park, the Drakensberg, Lesotho or drive further south to the KwaZulu Natal coastline and Durban.
Daytrips to the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg or a visit of the Cradle of Humankind are also possible. We will assist you with requirements such as car hire, booking of accommodation in the nature reserves or guesthouses on your ongoing trip.
The climate is very pleasant. In summer it is warm, but will cool down now and then by means of occasional scattered rain showers. The winter is dry, generally mild to warm during the day but cold in the mornings and evenings.
