Inyathi Self Catering chalets are situated conveniently in the town centre of Knysna. Extremely central, but down a quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle, just two streets (450m) from the Waterfront, and Featherbed's and metres from Gray Street, Woodmill Lane and all the supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants around.

Our location is also only a five minute walk to the Lagoon, Thesen Island shops and restaurants, Mitchell's Brewery and the Knysna High School Fields.

Self Catering Accommodation

Inyathi Self-Catering Chalets follow the uniquely Inyathi African theme with bright materials, wooden masks & statues, pictures, reed baskets and bowls, beads and wall hangings in every room.

All the chalets are non-smoking but each have a private walled in garden / courtyard with individual braai and outside seating and dining area.

There are 4 x One Bedroom Chalets (with a double bed), and 3 x Two Bedroom Chalets (with one bedroom with double bed and a second bedroom with two single beds) ideal for families or friends travelling together.

The kitchens are fully equipped with fridge / freezer, wash up area, hot plates / stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. All linen and towels are provided (beach towels are available on request), along with complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee.

There is also a TV, hairdryer, oil heater and overhead fans.

Each chalet has a private entrance and a walled in garden with outdoor seating / dining area and of course a braai. There is also one dedicated car space behind an automated gate per chalet.

Additional Facilities

TheInyathi Self Catering Chalets are child and pet friendly, and all chalets are situated at ground level so easily accessible for the elderly or people with mobility difficulties etc.
