Cape Robin is a property for self catering in Plettenberg Bay for up to 4 guests visiting the Garden Route region.
About Cape Robin
The house consists of two similar interlinked but completely separate self-contained homes. One of them, Cape Robin is let out to guests.
Cape Robin is set in a select spot in the Brackenridge private security estate which hosts some of Plett's most beautiful homes. The layout of the estate provides residents with tranquil, safe and close to nature living, as much of the area is green belt and the natural fynbos retained.
The estate is beautifully maintained and the natural vegetation attracts much birdlife. Cape Robin has a lovely sunny position and provides spectacular sea and mountain views and views of Plett's iconic Robberg peninsular.
Self Catering Accommodation
The lower level comprises the entrance hall and two double bedrooms. The master bedroom is en-suite opening onto an east facing balcony to catch the beautiful morning sunrises. This room has its own bathroom with a bath and own toilet, and also opens to an outdoor shower enjoyed by many of our guests in warm weather. There is of course also an indoor shower in the second bathroom.
The second bedroom has twin beds which can be put together and has a sliding door to the east facing balcony. Just outside the bedroom is a bathroom with a nice walk-in shower and toilet. The floor also has a washing machine.
The upstairs floor contains the kitchen, living room, TV, and dining area. The floor opens up to an east facing veranda which catches the morning sun and offers spectacular views of the sea, mountains and Robberg nature reserve. The floor also opens to a west facing veranda catching the late morning and afternoon and last of the sun. This veranda offers a lovely view of Robberg nature reserve has a table and chairs to seat four, two sun loungers a Weber BBQ and a louvre roof which can be opened and closed to suit the weather.
The kitchen is well equipped including fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven gas hob, toaster, filter coffee machine, utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses. The top floor has another door leading to the shared pool area.
The floors of the house, which we are often asked about, are concrete with embedded round river stones which have been polished with diamond coated sanders to create a very attractive, smooth and durable floor.
