JS Rossouw is a holiday home offering accommodation in Montagu on the Vrugtegeur Farm in the Koo Valley. We are extraordinarily excited to give all our guests from all over the world visiting us a piece of Vrugtegeur to keep in their hearts forever.

Self Catering Accommodation

JS Rossouw is a spacious five-bedroom holiday home in Montagu with four bathrooms. The first and fifth bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and two bunk beds. The second room is furnished with a double bed. The third and fourth rooms each have two single beds. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower, or bath and shower. Two of these are en-suite. There is also a cottage with four bunk beds and a shared bathroom with a shower.

Indulge in the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, furnished with a gas stove, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toasters, and microwave. The spacious layout of the house ensures ample room for gatherings and activities.

Stay seamlessly connected with free Wi-Fi and enjoy entertainment on two Smart TVs in the lower house and one Smart TV in the upper house.

On Site Facilities

There is an honesty shop on site that sells wine, jam, rusks and cookies from local suppliers, Snapscan is available for payment. Guests also have the privilege of complimentary firewood, and for your convenience, firewood is available for purchase on-site. Free organic free-range eggs - please collect in the shed (if available).

Attractions

The town of Montagu is located 35 km away, and is approximately a 2 to 2.5 -hour drive from Cape Town, on Route 62. This peaceful town is steeped in history and is famous for its awe-inspiring rock formations, orchards, vineyards, local herbs and healing hot mineral springs.

Guests can visit the wine and fruit farms, and go hiking, walking, cycling, and bird watching in the area. The Koo Valley is also known for its famous Tractor trips and potjiekos on Protea Farm, only 10km from Vrugtegeur.
