Kambaku Safari Lodge can be found in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve just 45 minute drive away from the Eastgate Airport and 3 hours away from Nelspruit. There are many wonderful activities and things to do in and around the area to keep you entertained during your stay.

Dining

Leisurely brunches are served on the veranda or around the pool, and guests are often entertained by the resident warthog family on the lawn. A great place to while away the heat of the day, is on the sundeck with a cocktail in hand, or enjoy a cooling dip in the pool.

Dinners are a truly African affair, lighted by the milky way, a large bonfire, and lanterns in the Boma. This is just one of several different locations to spoil yourself with fine wine and bush cuisine while listening to the night calls, fireside bush stories or a guided talk through the stars.

Experience

Two of our destinations are located in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, a vast expanse of 60 000 hectares of pristine African bushveld. Here, the world-renowned Magnificent seven: lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo, cheetah and wild dogs, roam freely in an untouched habitat. With only two vehicles allowed per sighting, guests can experience an exclusive safari, enjoying sightings all to themselves.

Kambaku Kubs Program

Having raised our own family in the bush, the innate curiosity of children and their love of nature has formed the basis for the development of the Kubs Program. At Kambaku Safari Lodge we want to share some of our experiences with your children, and have them discover and enjoy all aspects of the bush on a level that will entertain, educate and inspire them!
