About Kareeboom House

Kareeboom House offers Cederberg Accommodation at Mount Ceder and is located at the foot of the surrounding mountains. Nestled in a valley of the Grootrivier, surrounded by rugged and dramatic mountains, Mount Ceder lies within easy reach along the main route through the Cederberg mountain range. It is a great wilderness area with majestic views, amazing spring flowers, rugged mountain bike rides, walks and hikes – perfect for the young and not-so young.

Self Catering Accommodation

Kareeboom House is a self catering holiday home in Cederberg sleeping eight guests. The first bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed. The second, third and fourth bedrooms (one is a loft room) are each furnished with two single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, bath, basin and a toilet.

There is a large kitchen, scullery, dining room, two lounges as well as a dining table outside on the terrace. The adjacent living area has a fireplace and opens onto a deck, which has braai facilities and a wood-fired hot tub.

There is lush green lawn in front of the large stoep leading into the house.

Dining

The Old Mill House is a licensed restaurant at Mount Ceder, serving breakfasts, light lunches and dinners. The meals are served on a fixed menu basis and cater for most dietary requirements. Evening meals do need to be pre-booked 24 hrs in advance and any special dietary requirements made known when booking.

Activities

With a perennial clear river, wonderful bird life and stunning mountain scenery, Mount Ceder has activities for every taste and level of fitness. Come to the Cederberg and enjoy the mountain scenery and the many activities Mount Ceder has to offer, or just read a book at your house and relax. In addition to the many opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and swimming on the property, we are also within driving distance to many other Cederberg attractions and various 4x4 routes.
