Kareekloof Game Farm is a privately owned Game Farm near Derby, Northwest Province, 35 km from Rustenburg. where you can experience true South-African hospitality, with personal attention, care, and service. We are a countryside destination where we offer the ideal break away from the stress and strain of city life. We are not a resort nor a hotel. We sell peace, quietness, and a bushveld experience. Our beautiful game farm is characterized by dense bush, grass fields and splendid views of surrounding mountains and countryside. We do not entertain people with activities and games. You must be able to entertain yourself without internet connection.
Our accommodation is comfortable, clean and a place to relax in.
Self Catering Accommodation
All our units are self-catering. Equipped with linen, towels, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and more. Fridge, gas 2-plate stove, microwave, and cleaning material. Our rooms are serviced daily except on public holidays and Sundays. Basic room amenities are supplied.

Dining
Breakfast is not included in the accommodation rate but can be arranged at an additional cost. Breakfast must be booked, at least, 48 hours in advance. We are proud that we do all our meals freshly on the premises. Real home cooking. We do not have a commercial restaurant, so we only do traditional South African cuisine.
Game Drives
A game drive is so much more than to just see animals. We do have giraffes, zebras, eland, blue wildebeest, blesbok, impala, kudu, waterbuck and many more antelope on our 1000ha game farm. The view is spectacular.
We host many species of game, birds, trees, and grass.
Do not misreckon the small wildlife like dun beetle, different kinds of insects, hogs and many more.
The beauty of nature in all her glory is to be watched from our open safari vehicle.
The drives last for about 60 90 minutes. Early morning nature drive is at 06h30 and the late afternoon nature drive is at 16h30.
Drives are subjected to good weather conditions. Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee what you are going to see. The animals are roaming freely around the farm. You may not drive with your own vehicle. (You may not enter the reserve with your own vehicle. Only on our guided safari vehicle).

Bring your hiking and trail running shoes.
There are no TV's in the chalets. In the main lodge is a TV with DSTV for you to use.
Relax around the swimming pool.
Bring your camera and take nice photos of our rich bird life and insects.
Bring your binoculars and follow the birds.
Sitting around the campfire and let the flames take you to other places.
Stargazing we have the most amazing nights with clear galaxy. Bring your own telescope.
We do not have fishing on our property. The closest fishing spot is 20km from us.
Get disconnected from your electronic devices for your stay with us. You are now on a digital vacation. We call it a detox breakaway.
We do not have TV's in the chalets or rooms so that you can spend quality time with your family, loved ones and friends.
There is a Big Screen TV in the public lounge where you can watch TV or your football or rugby game.
The best is to download your preferred program on your device before visiting the farm.
We also do not allow pets. We have dogs that helps us protect you from intruders and other.
We sell wood and ice but NOT cigarettes.

From the moment we stopped on arrival until we departed back home again after the weekend, was top notch.
