KarMichael Farm

Originally a chicken shed, Rose Cottage has been transformed into a comfortable two bedroom self catering cottage. It has an open plan lounge, dining room and fully fitted kitchen. The kitchen looks over the pastures and across the dam to the mountains. If you are up early you will see the sun rising from the kitchen window. The lounge area has a Jetmaster fireplace that will warm the whole place in winter. There are two bedrooms, one with a King-size bed and the other has two three quarter beds. Each has its own spacious private bathroom with large shower, bath, toilet and hand basin. Wall mounted heaters and hot blankets are supplied. The Cottage is private. There is a beautiful Oak tree outside to sit under and braai and watch the sunset across the fields and Mountains of Lesotho.

Fisherman's Cottage has three bedrooms, a comfy lounge and open plan kitchen and dining area. One room has a Queen-size bed and the others have three quarter and single beds. Hot blankets will be supplied for those chilly winter evenings. There is a large single shower, toilet and hand basin. The unit has a stove, fridge, microwave, kettle and all cutlery and crockery required. Fisherman's has its own private parking area. Outside the front door is a patio and braai area that overlooks the pastures and dam with extended views too the mountains as well.

Originally part of six stables, we have turned three of them into a quaint unit. The stables are situated at the entrance to the farm overlooking the fields with a beautiful view of the mountains into Lesotho as well as Sani Pass. Outside is a small private garden area where one can relax. This is a perfect unit for a weekend away for two. This unit has two three quarter beds and is self catering. The kitchen area has a small fridge, toaster and microwave oven. There is also a combined small two plate cooker and oven. There is a very spacious en-suite bathroom with a large shower and toilet and hand-basin. There is hot / cold air conditioning for your convenience, and wall panel heaters and hot blankets for the beds are provided for the winter evenings.

Livingstone is one of four tastefully decorated and spacious, bed and breakfast rooms. It was originally part of the stables. Livingstone has been converted into a luxury room. One stable has been used for the spacious bathroom which has a huge walk-in shower. There is also a corner bath unit and toilet and hand basin. Two stables have been used for the bedroom, which has a King-size bed. There is hot / cold air conditioning for your convenience and wall panel heaters are provided as well as hot blankets for the chilly winter evenings. The room also has a mini fridge as well as tea and coffee facilities and a comfortable sitting area as well. The private entrance opens onto a grassed outside seating area with magnificent views across the paddocks towards Sani Pass and Lesotho.

Serenity is one of four tastefully decorated and spacious, bed and breakfast rooms. It is next door to Tranquility and has its own private entrance and nice views across the front lawn towards the berg. Serenity has a full en-suite bathroom with bath, shower toilet and hand basin. Serenity has two comfortable three quarter beds and hot blankets for winter. The room has tea and coffee facilities. A hairdryer is also supplied.

Tranquility is one of four tastefully decorated and spacious, bed and breakfast rooms. It is between Serenity and Augusta. It has its own private entrance and nice views across the front lawn towards the berg. Tranquility has a full en-suite bathroom with bath, shower toilet and hand basin. There is also a hot blanket for relief from the chilly winters. Tranquility has a King-size bed. The room also has tea and coffee facilities. A hairdryer is also supplied.
