About Khandizwe River Lodge

Located on the outskirts of Malelane, our luxurious 5 Star graded, self-catering thatched Lodge offers stunning views of the adjacent Kruger National Park. Khandizwe offers 4 en-suite bedrooms and is available for private rental to couples, families or small Groups of between 2 to 8 guests. The Southern Entry point into the Kruger Park, the Malelane Gate, is located in very close proximity.

ACCOMMODATION

Each booking will have the private use of the entire Lodge and all facilities. In keeping with our 5 Star grading from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, each one of our 4 masterfully appointed en-suite bedrooms exudes refinements such as mini-bars, beverage trays, air-conditioners, ceiling fans, hairdryers and fine linen.

Our lounge and living areas offer fine devotion to detail. The elevated position of the expansive veranda, garden, swimming pool and Game Viewing deck ensures that guests are provided with the ideal vantage point to observe large herds of elephant, buffalo and other Game grazing on the banks of the Crocodile River adjoining the Lodge.

The Lodge is fully serviced on a daily basis. Both Rose and Nancy take great pride in ensuring that uncompromised standards of excellence are maintained at all times.

Breakfast and Dining

We offer our guests a delightful breakfast platter. This is complimentary. All other meals are either self-catering or guests can visit one of the restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Our modern well-equipped kitchen and BBQ lapa are very popular with guests that enjoy preparing their own meals.

A number of well-known supermarket brands are conveniently situated in Malelane. Groceries can therefore be acquired locally.

ACTIVITIES

Self-drive excursions into the Kruger Park are very popular. The Malelane Gate is a stone's throw away. Alternatively, guests can explore the Kruger Park in an open Game vehicle by booking one of the many specialised Safari Excursions. These safaris are offered by private guides and rangers, and include a 3 hour Sunrise or Sunset Safari, or an exclusive full day Safari. Prices on request.
