Located in the mountain village of Hogsback, the King's Lodge Hotel is a country hotel set in 10 acres of well maintained grounds and peaceful surroundings. The hotel offers cosy and comfortable accommodation, excellent food and a warm welcome.
Accommodation
The colonial homestead offers affordable accommodation in homely en-suite hotel rooms and quaint self-catering lodges.
Hotel Rooms:
All rooms are en-suite and are serviced daily. Rooms are ensuite (with bath and hand shower) and are furnished with double or twin beds. Six of the rooms have a television. The rooms are equipped with coffee and tea facilities, electric blankets, duck down duvets and percale linen.
Honeymoon Suite:
The honeymoon suite (The Shady Cottage) is spacious and has a romantic fireplace. It has a charming view over the rolling lawns.
Self-Catering Cottages:
The self-catering cottages sleep two to seven people, are situated in our attractive gardens and are serviced daily. The cottages have DStv, a fully equipped kitchen area and lounges with fireplaces (wood is supplied daily). Rooms have electric blankets, duck down duvets and percale linen. Braai facilities are provided.
Weddings
The hotel provides a romantic indoor venue that caters for up to 80 guests, a scenic outdoor venue that caters for up to 150 guests in a marquee tent, fabulous food, superb service, friendly staff and brilliant value for money. The hotel is the ideal venue for a true country wedding with personalized, flexible service. We cater for everyone (including vegetarians and vegans) and will tailor make your wedding to suit your requirements for your special day.
