Kliphuis is a tranquil hideaway in a very private location within Sneeuberg Reserve. Kliphuis is a barn converted into a stylish luxury Karoo farmhouse. This ideal location allows you to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and while here you can rejuvenate, relax and enjoy the magnificent surroundings and all they have to offer.

Self Catering Accommodation

Thick, fluffy sheepskin rugs, a large fireplace, and three wood-burning stoves ensure this home stays warm and inviting. Natural elements of wood, glass, and stone create a distinctive character, complemented by soft off-white linens on the beds for a touch of comfort and elegance.

Accommodating up to eight guests, the house features four beautifully furnished bedrooms—one with a queen bed, two with king beds, each with an en-suite bathroom, and a fourth bedroom with twin singles. High-quality linen, bath towels, and swimming towels are provided for a seamless stay.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, an electric oven, a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer, and essential appliances like a microwave, toaster, French press, and coffee plunger. A washing machine and tumble dryer add convenience, while electric blankets and candles enhance the cozy atmosphere. WiFi is available, and daily servicing ensures a hassle-free retreat.

For relaxation, guests can enjoy the splash pool, an outdoor shower, and a portable BBQ/braai with tongs. While there is no TV, DSTV, or DVD player, an iPod docking station provides entertainment, and a beach umbrella is available for sunny days.

Smoking is permitted outside only, and pets are welcome by prior arrangement. The property is child-friendly, offering a comfortable and peaceful getaway for families or groups of up to eight adults.

Traditional Karoo braai meat and picnic baskets are available on request. You may also order dinners from Gordonville, which will be delivered to you for reheating in your kitchen. Please note that the closest town is 40km away so please ensure you bring the necessities.
