Kusudalweni Safari Lodge and Spa is an intimate five-bedroom lodge designed to combine the rustic nature of a bushveld retreat with the style and elegance you'd expect of a first-rate safari destination. Our guests can look forward to every comfort and convenience, including game drives conducted by our knowledgeable nature guides, a full-service restaurant that serves the very best in Pan African wines and cuisine, as well as al fresco boma barbeques prepared by our talented chefs.

Accommodation

The Kusudalweni Safari Lodge and Spa main lodge is a spacious structure of warm, natural wood and thatch with ample verandas that wrap around our various dining- and entertainment areas. Here you will find a crystal-clear swimming pool, restaurant, curio shop, communal lounges and bar.

At Kusudalweni Safari Lodge and Spa we have four luxurious detached thatched chalets including, three one bedroom Chalets and one two bedroom family Chalet, set individually at the end of meandering walkways that link to the Main Lodge. Each chalet is hidden from view by the natural bush surroundings and with this in mind.

Each room includes tea and coffee making facilities, personal safes, stocked mini bar fridges, indoor and outdoor showers, extra-large comfortable beds with luxury bedding, hairdryers, and suspended mosquito nets that give a true feeling of African chic.

Each chalet has its own private plunge pool / Jacuzzi for your enjoyment. Imagine a cool, calm oasis of crisp, white Percale linen, gentle air-conditioning and utter privacy where you can retreat to enjoy a refreshing afternoon rest, peaceful evening slumber or linger on your private deck over a glass of wine or a good book.

We do have a quiet lounge with satellite TV where big matches and other important events may be viewed. Additionally, you won't have to lift a finger throughout your stay. Our staff members are discreet and efficient and at the ready to ensure that your room remains as tidy and welcoming as you found it when you arrived. You also have the option of having a ranger to escort you to your room in the evening if you wish.

Breakfast and Dining

All meals are included in the rates and are served daily. Meals can be enjoyed in our dining room, on the deck or under the stars around an open fire in our boma.

A host of both relaxing and exciting activities all readily accessible. Treat yourself to one of our spa treatments, personalized to your specific needs. Partake in a morning safari, evening safari, night safari, safari in Manyaleti, a full day safari in the Kruger National Park, a river boat trip and so much more. Our nature guides and trackers know the reserve like the back of their hands and will confer to read the tracks, sounds and sights of the veld to find the hidden areas where the animals congregate. Each day is different and, depending on the weather, time of year, herd behaviour and various other factors you may encounter lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, hippos, crocodiles, rhinos, a variety of plains game and more.
