About Ku Sungula Safari Lodge

Ku Sungula Safari Lodge is located in the 40,000 hectare Balule Private Nature Reserve. Balule Private Nature Reserve has a rich wildlife and spectacular views as the border with the Kruger Park is open and the northern Drakensberg provides a great backdrop. The “reserve” is home to the BIG-5, many other animal species and a paradise for birds.

Accommodation

Ku Sungula Safari lodge offers typical African Safari styled rondavels beautifully constructed and tastefully decorated to blend in with the charm and serenity of the surrounding bush.

The rondavels are fully safari styled furnished and have their own en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, minibar, twin and double beds with classic draped mosquito nets and a private terrace to relax.

Facilities

The lodge has a bar with terrace, a swimming pool, a boma, a lounge and breakfast area. Coffee and tea are available all day. Our rates includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wifi is for free and available in the rooms and the public areas.

The terrace looks out over the waterhole where animals come to quench their thirst and cool down. At night you can listen to the sounds of the bush and discover the breathtaking stars of the southern skies.
