About La Lechere Guest House
La Lechere Guesthouse is a luxury and peaceful haven at only 5 min from the famous Kruger National Park. Quietly situated on the outskirts of Phalaborwa, Limpopo, the 4 star guesthouse breathes a contemporary African ambiance and offers a perfect bush experience.
Guests can relax at the enchanting swimming pool with luxury pool loungers and shady umbrellas. The stylish thatched lapa and bar with comfy cushions, candles and fire place is the perfect venue for sundowners on a hot summer day or hot cocoa on a cold winter night.
After numerous travels on the African continent Owners Jan and Issabella Schurings decided to change their lives drastically. After more than 25 years working in the legal service industry as partner in a law firm they decided to follow their dream to live near the African bush and took over La Lechere Guest House in 2018. The aim is to provide guests a world class hospitality experience and to assist them to make the most out of their stay in and outside Kruger Park.
Accommodation
La Lechere Guest House offers seven luxury en-suite double rooms. Each room overlooks the pool and has a private patio leading to the tropical garden.
The rooms have air-conditioning, a flat screen TV with DStv, free Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities and complimentary biscuits.
Breakfast and Dining
A full English breakfast plus fresh fruit salad, cereal and yoghurt is included in the room rate and is served daily from 07h00 to 09h00 on the wooden deck overlooking the pool. A convenient breakfast pack can be arranged if guests choose to depart before 07h00. We offer a couple of days per week a culinaire 3 course menu made with local and seasonable ingredients
Tours & Activities
Situated on the doorstep of the Kruger National Park, one of the world's most famous wildlife nature reserves, Phalaborwa offers a range of opportunities to observe wildlife in its natural habitat. Phalaborwa is the ideal base to explore Kruger Park as well as the Blyde River Canyon panoramic road with the three Rondavals and God's window. The activities include a visit to the world famous Amarula lapa, the local craft distillery or Hi Kurile cooperative to buy some beautiful local handicrafts.
The La Lechere Team will assist you with all your safari and tour packages as well as private health and beauty treatments during your stay. All packages can be tailor made to suit your interest and your budget.
