The accommodation is spacious yet cozy and the top floor offers stunning views of the lagoon. La Maison Verte embraces seaside Lifestyle, bringing a hint a Metropolitan feel, French Flair and a unique sense of detail.

Self Catering Accommodation

The entrance hall leads to an attractive open plan kitchen/dining and comfortable lounge area. The well-equipped kitchen includes a gas hob, electric oven, large fridge/freezer, and a host of small appliances, ample storage space and dining table.

In addition to a sofa, armchairs, coffee table and wood burning stove, the lounge features a 32” flat-screen TV (with DStv channels), DVD player and patio doors leading to a stylishly furnished covered deck and barbeque – perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation.

The first bedroom is located on the ground floor with patio doors opening on to the deck. In addition to a king bed (or twin beds if preferred), there's a spacious en suite shower room and toilet, hanging space, dressing table and ceiling fan. A washing machine is also located in the bathroom.

Stairs from the entrance hall lead to the stunning master bedroom. Occupying the whole of the first floor, it features a king/twin bedroom, additional sofa bed, large walk-in wardrobe, dressing table and electric heaters. Double doors lead out to a private deck with sweeping views over the Knysna lagoon, golf course, town and Outeniqua Mountains beyond. The huge, elegant bathroom includes ‘raindrop' shower, separate toilet, ample under sink storage and heated towel rail.

Eco-friendliness

As its name suggests, La Maison Verte has many eco-friendly features including solar geyser and rainwater storage tank. Only biodegradable products are used for cleaning.

There is no dedicated Internet service for the house but there is a strong 3G signal and a dongle with 1gig data capacity will be provided to guests on arrival.
