Each of the eight rooms are uniquely interior decorated with touches of French Provincial Antiques and mirrored dressers. The fabrics throughout include superlative silks and textures handpicked to match each interior.

All eight rooms are equipped with DSTV, honesty fridge, quick showers, relaxing Victorian baths, under floor heating, air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, swimming pool and private patios with spectacular views. Breakfast and Dining

In addition to the deluxe decor, breakfast is served in the beautifully renovated stables. Breakfast spread consists of full continental and full English. Pre-booked dinners can also be arranged.
Alternatively, you can enjoy a bottle of wine and cheese platter on the tranquil patio overlooking a swan lake.

The Stables Coffee Shop

A converted horse stable is the place where you will find the best breakfast this side of the Orange River. This lovely coffee shop is managed by Izelle Troskie. For a love of food and the talent for taste she will not disappoint with her innovative food creation ideas.

Besides the love of food, elegant style runs deep in her veins. The Stables also boast a collection of stylish home interiors that will inspire even the novice home decorator to break out in song. The Stables is a must stop when visiting our beautiful town of Aliwal North.

The Stables has a full breakfast menu ranging from a health breakfast to the best omelette in town. The light lunches consists of salads, quiche, panini's, lasagne, pancakes and wraps. The sweet tooth can indulge in a selection of cakes.

The owner has cleverly incorporated the idea of food and gifts as a single entity. So while waiting for your food, one can browse through the gift shop, certain to find that perfect gift for that special person. The shop is also well known for the beautiful flower arrangements it does.
