Lavender Edge @ Forest Valley offers accommodation in Knysna with 180 degree views from the deck. From here you are only 8 mins from the Knysna Lagoon, by car, then a scenic drive around the lagoon to town, 15km from the centre of town, close to beaches and forests.

Self Catering Accommodation

Lavender Edge @ Forest Valley is a two bedroomed cottage in Knysna. The first bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, outdoor shower, hand basin and WC. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The lounge has a wood burning fireplace and a TV with satellite channels. The fully equipped kitchen has everything required for your self catering stay.

Sliding doors lead out to a private deck with a table and chairs, hammock and a gas weber braai. There is also an outdoor 4 person Jacuzzi boasting 180 degree views.

On Site Facilities

There is a plunge pool, which overlooks the magnificent views, for the use of all the guests. It's like a big Jacuzzi with aim flow jets and seating all around. And for the more active there is a forest trail from the cottages to the bottom of the valley.

When you book in you will find, we have set up the cottage beautifully for you, with petals on the bed, arrival tea and coffee / small chocolates / bath goodies / candles / some toilet stuff / firewood and charcoal with firelighters on the deck that you can buy / daily housekeeping service /some DStv / DVD / music system.

Activities

Forest Valley Cottages has a tourist info board, in the office, with pamphlets to take and many things to do in the area, tree-top canopy tours, Elephant Park, Bungy jumping, ferry and yacht cruises on the lagoon, game park visits, horse riding, visit gold mines from 1800 close-by…are but a few.
