Little Willow Brooke is ideally appointed: within easy walking distance of Franschhoek's hub, yet in atmosphere, miles from anywhere.

Perched above a bubbly stream that meanders through a rush of oak and willow trees (hence the name), Willow Brooke is a cute Cape-styled country cottage with all the traditional elements: green tin roof, rough white-washed walls, wonky terracotta paving, rietdak ceilings, cottage furniture and paintings of country scenes.

Little Willow Brooke is ideal for a romantic couple seeking a cosy base to the surrounding area - anything more could be a bit cramped.

Self Catering Accommodation

The neat interior comprises a separate en suite bedroom with queen-size bed (with a view) and a tiny kitchen that forms part of the lounge area, where you're likely to spend your evenings in front of the fireplace with a glass of red or white wine from one of the wonderful wine farms in our valley listening to some lovely music - CD player in cottage. Coffee table books to browse for your convenience.

Outside, you have the choice of wallowing in your own private plunge pool or ambling down to the stream and dozing under the trees on a patch of open lawn, or having a braai / barbeque in our Lapa for a South African experience whilst watching the squirrels playing in the trees and seeing some fantastic bird life ... decisions, decisions.

Activities and Attractions

Little Willow Brooke is just a ten minute walk to the centre of the village (one minute drive) where you will find an abundance of top class restaurants. Franschhoek is surrounded by top wine estates; wine tastings offered by all – some by appointment only and others you can just pop in, in between a delicious breakfast and lunch or dinner.

There are lovely walks around the village and at the newly built dam. There is also a farmers market every Saturday where you can play boulles, listen to the local singers, buy tasty eats and drink delicious Deluxe coffee or some of our wonderful wines.

Listen to Llive music on Friday's at La Petite Ferme restaurant (summer only) where you can watch the sun go down and sip on their award winning wines and have a meal to be remembered.
