Set in picturesque and tranquil surroundings of the Assagay Valley, just a few minutes outside Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal, Macnut Farm is the perfect setting for any wedding, function or event. Macnut Farm is the perfect wedding and function venue that offers romance, intimacy, exclusivity and convenience. The owners Hannah & Paul have hosted many beautiful and memorable weddings and functions. Macnut Farm has been the wedding venue of choice for many couples for the past 13 years.

The Venue

Macnut Farm caters for up to 200 guests and offers multiple options for indoor as well as outdoor functions. The main function hall can accommodate up to 200 guests and has a large covered entertainment area adjoining the main building where cocktails and snacks can be enjoyed and a beautiful deck area overlooking the dam.

The venue comes fully equipped with tables (multiple options), chairs (Wimbledon), cutlery, crockery and glassware and a fully licenced and well stocked bar. Plentiful, safe and secure on-site parking is available.

Owned and managed by the experienced team of Hannah & Paul, with over thirteen years experience in the wedding and function industry, we will be there on the day to ensure that you day is memorable and hassle free. Our experienced staff will ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently and are able to assist you with every detail including optional decor and flowers.

Dining

Macnut Farm is well known for its mouth-watering cuisine. We offer a wide variety of menu choices to suit every pallet. We are able to customise a menu that's relevant to you and your budget, from re-creating Granny's favourite dish to a buffet feast. Hannah's attention to detail and her love for cooking, guarantees a memorable and sumptuous dining experience.

Facilities

The Umhlatuzana River and beautiful gardens offer the perfect backdrop for photographers as well as for guests to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings. The stunning gardens are also ideal for hosting outdoor garden wedding ceremonies.

Nestled under a giant pink Cedar tree, you will find the most beautiful and quaint Chapel of Love, the smallest chapel in the Southern Hemisphere, where many couples have signed the register and recorded their union.
