Mountain Lodge

Sleeps: 12 guests (max 10 adults)

This self-catering lodge has a fully equipped kitchen, furnished to the highest standards with a large six plate stove and oven, fridge/freezer, and convection microwave. The dining area has an eight seater dining table and a breakfast nook with 6 chairs. A compliment of cutlery and crockery suitable to your group size is provided as are all kitchen and braai utensils. A large solar geyser provides abundant hot water and an automatic electric back up ensures hot water even in cool or cloudy weather. The lounge area is fitted with a leather lounge suite and coffee table, a small bookcase contains books and recent magazines in case of poor weather. There are 3 double bedrooms and an open plan room sleeping up to six, there are multiple bathrooms and toilets as well as outside showers providing more than adequate ablution facilities for big groups. All bedrooms have access to an outside deck and the main deck has steel and glass tables and chairs that can comfortably seat big family groups. Adjacent to the salt water swimming pool is a large braai boma where families and friends can enjoy the tradtional South Africa outdoor lifestyle.

Bush Lodge

This two or four sleeper unit is set in a secluded kloof and offers the ultimate in privacy. Set on three levels and raised into the tree canopy this unit has been built to blend luxury with the environment. The lodge is well equipped for self catering purposes and there is a sundeck linked to the kitchen which is perfect for relaxing or an al fresco meal. The sleeping area consists of a main room which is furnished with a double bed while the second bedroom / lounge can be fitted with two single beds if required. Both rooms have large sliding doors looking out over the Buffelspoort Valley; enjoy the spectacular scenery from the comfort of your bed. The lounge area adjacent to the bedroom has a fireplace for chilly evening and extra blankets and hot water bottles are provided during winter.

Forest Lodge

Forest Lodge is a unique Lodge set in the midst of an ancient indigenous Wild Olive Forest. Completely surrounded by these beautiful trees it offers total privacy and relaxation. It consists of a master bedroom containing a hand crafted Queen sized Four Poster bed, draped with a Safari style Mosquito net. It's large panelled windows and sliding doors open out into the Forest whilst the large rooftop skylights filter the sunlight into the room. The deck off the bedroom is built into the trees and also contains an outside shower. The bathroom has a large double bath and shower, once again large panelled windows and skylights give the feeling of being in a tree house. The open plan kitchen and dining room are well equipped for a complete self catering stay and contains a 4 plate gas stove/oven and fridge/freezer. All cooking and braaing utensils, crockery and cutlery are supplied. The electrical system is solar powered so although there is normal lighting it is not possible to connect TV's, microwaves, hairdryers etc. There is sufficient to charge cellphones and limited laptop useage. All linen is supplied and guests are required to bring sufficient food and drinks for their stay. Wood/charcoal/firelighters are available to purchase subject to prior arrangement.

River Lodge

River Lodge is a private one bed roomed lodge which overlooks a small stream on the farm. It is fully equipped with four plate stove / oven, microwave, and large fridge / freezer. There is a double bath, shower and toilet, as well as an outside shower off the bedroom.

Tranquility Lodge

Sleeps: 2 guests (max 2 adults)

Tranquility Lodge is a private single room lodge nestled amongst the trees and overhanging a small stream on the farm. It is fully equipped with four plate stove / oven, microwave and large fridge / freezer. Amenities include a double Jacuzzi bath and toilet.

Serenity Lodge

Serenity Lode is a private self catering lodge with views over pasture lands and mountains. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen with stove / oven, microwave, toaster, kettle. En suite bathroom has a shower, toilet as well as an outside Spa bath and shower.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
