Self Catering Accommodation

Manor House @ Somerset Gift is a holiday home in Swellendam sleeping a maximum of 10 adults and four children.

There are four rooms, two are furnished with double beds, two are furnished with twin beds and the loft room is furnished with four single beds. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin and there is another shared bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

It has a sumptuous kitchen fully equipped, a beautiful dining room and separate comfortable living room with amazing views and a TV room with a flat screen TV and free satellite television.

The Manor House is lovingly furnished with genuine antiques creating an authentic and relaxed farmhouse atmosphere. There is a large indoor wood stove in the lounge, and a built in braai/barbecue on the large all-weather patio.

All linen and bath towels are supplied as well as kitchen and bathroom consumables, 1 complimentary bag of firewood, blitz, braai grid and tongs. Guests need to bring their own swimming towels.

It has a spacious patio perfect for outdoor dining and entertainment. In addition, Manor House has a lovely outside wood-fired hot-tub to soak up the magnificent views from.

Uncapped WiFi is available at Manor House – suitable for emails, online banking or surfing the Net – please note its not suitable for movie streaming or Zoom meetings.

Venture across the river into the indigenous forest where small buck and the shy cape otter may be spotted and follow the mountain trail to stunning waterfalls and mountain pools.

Walk down to the natural spring lake and spend the day bird watching, swimming and canoeing. On your return sit on your private patio and enjoy the magnificent view as the last of the sun's rays bounce of the mountain, lighting it up in an unbelievable brilliant green.
