About Marloth Cottage

Marloth Cottage is a quaint, private self-catering cottage offering accommodation in Marloth Park, a wildlife conservancy bordering the Kruger National Park. Marloth has its own population of wild but gentle zebra, giraffe, kudu, impala, ostrich, wildebeest, warthog, and other species, many of which will walk right up to you. There are also numerous birds, reptiles, and insects. Marloth borders the Crocodile River, Kruger Park's southernmost boundary, and is separated from Kruger and the Big 5 only by an electric fence.

Self Catering Accommodation

Marloth Cottage in Marloth Park is tiled throughout and can sleep four guests in two bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a four poster King-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a corner bath, toilet and basin. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The comfortably furnished cottage has an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and a dishwasher. There is a breakfast bar with stools.

The living area opens to a covered patio with outdoor dining furniture and beyond that to an open area with a fire pit, seating and a braai that overlooks a waterhole.

The cottage also has a large swimming pool and sun loungers.

Covered parking is available.

Activities and Attractions

The cottage is just inside Marloth Park's second gate, which means a 15 minute drive, via paved roads, out of Marloth Park and over to the Crocodile Bridge Gate into fabulous Kruger National Park. There are a number of things to do in the area; game drives and bird watching in the Kruger National Park or the Lionspruit Game Reserve, guided game walks, visiting the Thulamela Ruins, having lunch at Hamiltons, playing a round of golf at Skukuza Golf Course, taking a drive to Nelspruit and visiting the Botanic Gardens or booking a helicopter flip over the Blyde River Canyon.
