Melozhori Cottage offers accommodation in the Melozhori Private Game Reserve. This predator free game reserve is set on a breathtaking panoramic landscape with uninterrupted views and home to unique mix of indigenous fauna and flora.
Self Catering Accommodation
Melozhori Cottage is a cosy, self catering cottage situated in the middle of the reserve, high up on the hills and provides breath-taking views of the surrounding landscape.
The cottage consists of two en-suite bedrooms with air conditioning that sleep four adults and two small children. One bedroom has a Queen-size bed and the second bedroom has two three quarter beds and a double sleeper couch. Each bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Both rooms open onto an expansive viewing deck.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, dishwashing soap and dish cloths. Included are rusks, fruit bowl and fresh bread on arrival, small milk, salt, pepper, oil vinegar, coffee, sugar, tea, firewood, one bag charcoal, one pack firelighters, bottle of sparkling grape juice and ice.
The lounge has comfortable seating. The unit is fully equipped with TV with DStv, a fireplace, Wi-Fi, built in braai, fire pit, pizza oven and a swimming pool.

I will not recommend the cottage in cold winter raining weather. The outside dining area, the only dining area was freezing as well as the bedrooms. The electric blankets save as. Maybe we will try it again in summer time

Melozhori exceeded our expectations - from the moment we went through the gate, we came across lots of wildlife as we slowly made our way to our cottage - zebra, wildebeest, springbok! We were met by Sam there who explained everything to us and left us to settle in. Later she returned to take us on our extra game drive we had booked in advance - which ended with us enjoying a cheese and fruit platter by a fire - all set up by another guide - very special! A dip in the wood-fired hot tub completed the evening. Before the game drive in the morning, we went for a walk and came across 2 giraffe and spent time watching and photographing them from a distance which was fantastic! We then spent the afternoon again walking around exploring the reserve! A special place and we will be back!
