Self catering Accommodation

Willemsrivier Meulhuis Cottage is a self catering holiday cottage in Nieuwoudtville sleeping six guests. The first room is furnished with twin beds, the second room is furnished with three single beds and there is another single bed in the living area. There is one bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet and basin.

The open plan living area has comfy seating a dining table and a well equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, hot plate, kettle, crockery and cutlery etc.

The covered patio has a built in braai and patio furniture.

The Farm

There are many historical buildings to view for example the Smuts/Maritz office, the Waenhuis, the Opstal, and many more. For the adventurous people, there are also 4x4 routes and hiking routes that can be explored. The seasonal flower routes like candlestick lilies and yellow “katstert” flowers are to be seen on these routes. A must to visit is the old graves, the “trapvloer” as well as the fountain and the old tractors. As it is a working sheep farm, sheep shearing during spring (August) and in the autumn is very exciting as well as seeing the dogs in action getting the sheep together. At Gletser is a glacier pavement.
