Milkwood Manor On Sea offers 4-Star accommodation in Plettenberg Bay, one of the most glamorous holiday destinations in South Africa. Set in the heart of the Garden Route, it's blessed with a wealth of natural assets that make it the perfect holiday spot. Portuguese explorers called it "baia formosa", meaning beautiful bay.
Accommodation
Most of the bedrooms in this Georgian-styled delightful guest house in Plettenberg Bay have a private balcony with exquisite, uninterrupted views. All the rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a shower and some have a bath as well. Six of the rooms have an extra large double bed and five have twin beds that can be converted to a king on request.
Rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, hospitality DSTV, hairdryer, heater, fan and electronic safe. Free wi-fi is available throughout the Manor. With two guests lounges, one at ground floor level and one upstairs there is ample space for relaxation.
Special Feature
A popular feature of the Manor is the webcam panning 180 degrees allowing guests to invite their family and friends to see the amazing views they're enjoying.
Breakfast & Dining
Breakfast, served in the dining area, is exclusive to the Manor's guests and is a highlight of the day as guests enjoy the panoramic view across the lagoon to the beach, sparkling ocean and Tsitsikamma Mountains. What a way to start a day in paradise!
While sitting down to breakfast guests are given full details of all there is to see and do in the area and if necessary bookings are done for them. No guest will be left wondering how to fill their day with whatever takes their fancy. Our guests receive a 10% discount from most of the activities in the area on presentation of a suitably marked brochure.
Local Activities
With direct access to the popular Lookout Beach which has returned bigger and better than before guests are truly spoilt by being able to relax and enjoy the sun, sand and sea just over the rocks bordering the Manor.
Guests enjoy beach walks, swimming in the waves, kayaking on the lagoon, fishing and bird watching directly at the Manor.
With easy access to the town centre and the N2, the many popular activities from Knysna to Tsitsikamma can be enjoyed.

My husband and I spent 1 night away from our little kids, just a short drive away from home and it was lovely. The views were incredible, the hotel peaceful and spotless. The bed was comfortable, the full bathroom a bonus. The breakfast was amazing with wonderful service from the waitress. All in all excellent value for money and we will definitely stay again.
